I have a love/hate relationship with the sandbox. I love it because it provides Lincoln and sometimes Kate too with long periods of entertainment. Since I have an awesome husband who put a gate on our deck, I can make supper or do any number of things in the kitchen while they play in the sandbox. Yesterday afternoon, I wondered, do I love the sandbox….maybe I actually hate it. :) Here are a few pictures of yesterday’s incident that caused me to question my relationship with our sandbox. :)

Oh the happy memories of playing in our sandbox as a kid. I'm sure you're kids will too...and now as I think back I wonder if my mother felt the same way as you do about it...mothers, they have an amazing amount of patience!

Is it an amazing amount of patience or an amazing lack of patience.....some days I can't remember. :)
I have heard that covering them in baby powder before they come in the house will eliminate some of that. It helps dry out the sand and it just falls off of them outside.
