Loved Little Girl

Kate and Lincoln absolutely adore Anya.  Much to our surprise, so does Creighton, although I don’t really have any pictures of him because when he “holds” her he basically hugs her really tight while laughing with glee and kissing her.  I stick pretty close.  =)  But, the following pictures are now a common sight at our house.

Some (but not all, I’m doing really poorly with getting pictures of everyone) visitors we’ve had in the past few weeks.

Anya Eden

Oh how God must laugh at me sometimes.  There were two things I adamantly proclaimed throughout my pregnancy with Anya.  1) I was NOT going to be induced this time and 2) I would for sure be getting an epidural, same as the other 3 times around.  Well, when I found out my doctor was going to be out of town and had just spent 7 straight nights up with contractions, when he offered to induce me before he left, I QUICKLY agreed, even though I had previously said no induction!  Then, I went from 2cm to 10 cm in about 40 minutes and didn’t get to have an epidural.  So, turns out I should just keep my mouth shut, because even when I think I know what is going to happen, well it just doesn’t always work out that way.  However, things are going really well and I’ve recovered AMAZINGLY.  It gets a little crazy around here at times, but we just love our new little girl.  =)  I’m very grateful for all the help I have received and continue to receive.  I’m one blessed girl!!

Anya entered the world screaming and kept right on screaming for the next hour or so.  =)  She was born 11.11.12 – weighed 6 lbs 10 oz, 19 inches long at 10:08am.

Phone Pictures

I recently emptied the pictures off of my phone, so some of these pictures are from awhile ago.

A few weeks ago the boys and I were driving and our truck went into some sort of safety mode and wouldn’t drive over 30mph.  So, we hobbled into our mechanic.  The boys could’ve cared less, they got hooked up with popcorn and had a great time running around the parking lot.

Another day I was trying to go up my parents driveway and these turkeys were ambling around.

Some days just require a little breakfast on the go.

Kate really enjoyed her 8 week tumbling course.  I was amazed that she was strong enough to climb this rope net.  She got almost to the top before she said, “Umm, can I come down?”

Fall Leaf Fun

IMG_3687 IMG_3688

We did not go trick or treating this year, but we did go to the fall festival at church.  They had games with plenty of candy.  We had a tiger, a cowboy, and a lion.

In baby news – well, there is no news, we’re just patiently, or not so patiently waiting for this lil’ one to decide she is ready to come.   We have about two weeks to go, give or take.
