We had the annual Rassi Family Campout this past weekend. It was a lot of fun as usual. Greg even arranged to have a giant bounce house/obstacle course that the kids did all day Saturday and never got tired of it. I have to admit, it was pretty fun. Thanks, Greg! I didn’t take many pictures, except of the bounce house, so pardon the repetition. Thanks Dad and Mom for hosting the campout again! We look forward to it!

Happy Birthday, Michael!
One evening last week, William and Norah joined us for supper. The kids had fun eating outside.
Creighton is a hand-full right now. He climbs and climbs (and falls) and climbs and destroys everything in sight. I think I’m too old for this! Last week he climbed up on an end table and fell off on his head. We tried to get a picture of his busted lip and fat lip, but he won’t sit still long enough for such nonsense. Pardon the supper mess still on his face.
Friday evening, we had a deck campfire and roasted marshmallows with our good buddies, Justin and Melissa and kiddos. Our kids now want to have a fire every night. =)
I found this Buzz Lightyear outfit at a garage sale. Linc wasted no time in wearing it around the house.
Creighton likes to mimic the older kids. Kate often colors this way, so anytime Creigh picks up a crayon or marker, he lays down to use it. Complete with his feet up and everything.
Last, but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my hubby today!! Hope you have a great day!!

I should know better…
I left the boys inside by themselves for 3 minutes to put the garbage cans away – I should know better – I have 3 children – what was I thinking? =) I can back in to a roll of toilet paper strung all over the bathroom, half the kleenex box emptied, and all the bandaids spread throughout the house. =)
Beauty and the Pooh?
Norah and Lincoln have enjoyed playing together a lot lately as the older brother and sister are in school. Last week one day, Norah was here playing. They came upstairs and said, “Look, we’re Beauty and the Beast.” I must have look skeptical because Linc said, “well, I Pooh, but we can pretend I the Beast.”
Lincoln started preschool last week and LOVES it. Praise God. What an unexpected blessing, I thought there would be weeping and wailing. =)
Fun reading time with A. Joyce. THANKS!! It’s a highlight at our house when you come!
Lincoln can write his name – guess we need to work on the order. =)
The other day Lincoln was playing his leapster at this table and Creighton crawled over and climbed right up on his lap.

What a temperature swing
Last Friday, when it was still 90+ degrees outside, Janis and I met up at my parents pool (along with Aunt Cathy and Emily) to enjoy some pool time before our boys start preschool. Lincoln and Logan are two days apart and ended up being buddies, after Lincoln warmed up. :)
Getting ready to jump in
Jumping in – Lincoln may have pulled Logan in and that may not have gone over very well. Sorry Logan (and Janis)
On Labor Day, we took the boat out one last time for the summer. We had a great time, even though it was only 70 degrees. Thanks, Kev & Jod, for being up for yet another adventure with us!! :)
Creighton was good as gold…unless you tried to touch the steering wheel. :)
Warming up after swimming and tubing.
My dad had a kidney stone over the weekend that ended up requiring surgery because it got stuck. We went to visit him in the hospital after his surgery and the kids were happy to help him eat his sour gummy worms that his friends brought him. So glad you are feeling better, Dad!
