Easter Weekend

Kate and Lincoln had Friday and Monday off for Easter.  We had a lot of fun, but were exhausted come Monday night. 

Thursday night we were able to eat dinner and decorate eggs with Nic and Amanda. 

  

Friday was a beautiful day and we spent most of the day outside.  Saturday we went to Rassi Easter and to our kids’ absolute delight, Phil and Cyrena brought the dogs with them.  I can’t even begin to explain Kate’s delight.  I will let the pictures tell the story.  Phil and Cyrena, thank you so much for patiently allowing Kate and Creighton to love on your dogs ALL DAY LONG!!

Monday morning Wendy and I took our kids to the zoo.  Not only is Wendy brave enough to go places with me and my 4 kids, she actually helps me with them.  She’s a gem and I’m so grateful for her!!  Thanks, Wen!

And a little bit of “keepin’ it real” – are these the days I will supposedly miss??  I’m not sure I believe that after 7 straight days of this.  =)  That’s Anya wailing, I tried to get one of her all out tantrum, but the photo just doesn’t do the scene justice. =)  Have a great afternoon!

Best. Day. Ever.

Last week I got to go to the circus with Lincoln and his kindergarten class.  It was a lot of fun.  I didn’t get any pictures of him, but here are a couple of the circus.

 

  

Sweet Joce.

Last Saturday we spent the afternoon helping with yardwork at Dad and Mom’s.  Creighton got to ride the skidsteer with Grandpa, the mini-excavator with Brett, and play in the dirt all afternoon.  Brett even taught him to dig dirt in the excavator which I’m pretty sure earns him the best uncle ever award.   At bedtime Creighton told me, “Mom, this is the best. day. ever. When can we do it again.”  (Thanks Brett and Dad and Mom for your patience with all your helpers!!)

Lincoln Turns 6!

This boy is so sweet when he’s sleeping.  ; )  He is actually really funny right now, but boy the Creighton/Anya combo is keeping life quite active.  : ) 

This girl ….. she’s a ball of fire and does everything she can to keep up with the big kids. 

 

We celebrated Lincoln’s 6th birthday this week.  Hard to believe we have two kids that old…

  

These two are loving these warm temps.  I literally have to drag them back inside.  Welcome spring!!

   

Lincoln had to stay home from school with strep throat a few days last week.  He took his temp every hour begging to go back to school.  He finally decided he could draw for awhile to pass some time.  : ) He eventually filled the entire board, but I forgot to get a picture of the rest of his work.
