We just got home from a wonderful vacation to Florida. We drove this year and the kids did great traveling! With 4 kids, it was not a “relaxing” vacation, but it was very refreshing and we all really enjoyed it.
We spent almost every morning at the beach. We had the below tent for Anya and she loved being outside and by the ocean. As you can see, we had a lot of help entertaining the kids. Many thanks to Grams and Popsy, Dad and Mom, and Brett and Tessa for the many hours they spent playing with the kids!!!!!!
I love the kids’ expressions in this picture. =) They are playing with my Mom, but I tried to crop her out so she wouldn’t be mad at me. =)
After a morning at the beach we would eat lunch and then head out to the pool for an afternoon of swimming. Mike swam with the kids every afternoon while I took care of Anya. Kate and Lincoln both have cameras and some of these pictures they took. =)
We stay on the “ocean side” of Florida and the kids got up so early each day that we saw the sunrise almost every day. They always wanted to go to the beach and take pictures of the sun coming up.

Our kids are very blessed to have a real special relationship with Grams and Popsy. We are really thankful that Grandma and Grandpa are willing to vacation with such a circus!!
We always take some group pictures. Special thanks to our friend, Angie!!! She was a willing photographer and patiently listened to the kids everyday and even participated in a Lizard Rescue Operation. =)

Congratulations if you made it to the bottom of this post. =) Perhaps one of my favorite photos of the trip, Uncle Brett slinging Lincoln in the pool.
