Wow! A lot has happened around here since I posted last.
First, Creighton had a birthday! Hard to believe he is 5 years old! It’s the birthday he has been anticipation for the past few years.
For his birthday date with Mike and I he wanted to go eat pizza at Costco. : )
A few last days of fun in the pool before the big kids headed back to school.
The first day of school was met with much excitement. The kids were thrilled to return. Creighton literally ran he was so excited. He still runs to the bottom of the driveway every morning. He loves school and while it is a little harder for him than the other two, he tells me every day how much he loves it.
Anya and I went to get groceries while the kids were at school….I’d say she’s settled right into this “only one left at home” routine. She does go running out the door each afternoon to greet them all with hugs though.
A fun evening with friends
: )
Last weekend we had our annual Rassi Family Campout. I did not do a very good job of getting pictures this year. The weather was amazing!
We celebrated August birthday’s, plus Hope from the end of July.
We turned around the next day and celebrated with the Kaiser family!
Probably the biggest news at our house is that we told the kids if they gave up their birthday and Christmas gifts (from us) this year that we would get them a dog. Kate’s only been begging for about 5 years now. =) He’s a cockapoo that they named Sailor. The kids ALL love him, but the biggest surprise to me is how much Sailor and Anya like each other. They are inseparable while the kids are at school and the dog whines when she is napping. He’s been a pretty good dog so far and tolerates the kids really well.
Saturday night I went to my 15 year class reunion. We (yes, Mike too) had such a great time talking to everyone. I’m sad that I didn’t get any pictures from the night. It was great to see those of you who could make it and we missed those of you who couldn’t be there. However, Sacha’s Sashay is coming up, so come on back to town for that on October 3.
