It would appear that blogging has been something that has been neglected as of late. Here is a short recap of our July.
We have really enjoyed swimming with friends 1-2 times a week.
Kate has asked to be on the swim team for the past several years and we let her try it this year. She absolutely loved it and never complained about going to practice, even though it was early and 4 times a week. On the last day of practice she was disappointed and told me she wished she could go to practice every day. At her last swim meet of the year she beat almost all of her personal bests. We’re so proud of how hard she worked!
Kate has a wonderful group of friends that she did Bible study with this summer. We took them mini-golfing and for ice cream also. So thankful for these girls.
Over the weekend we had the first Gramm Reunion. I didn’t not take many pictures at all, but here are a few that I got of the bounce house and slip n slide.
Anya continues to keep me quite busy. We’ve been working on potty training. She’s finally getting it, but on day one, she picked up the little potty, threw it down the stairs, and said, “I’m done with this.” I really hate when you see your own worst qualities come out in your kids.
