A Boat Weekend

This past weekend, we were able to take the boat to Clinton Lake both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Russ & Beth, Dawn, and Janet came with us. We had a great time. Thanks to the Grandma's for watching the kids!

Sunday we went with Carmen's fam. It rained for about 3 minutes. Brett played peek-a-boo with Linc and Kate while we waited for it to pass.

Lincoln loves the boat. These are his two favorite posts. :)

Last week, Wendy and I took Kate, Linc, and Bryce to the Children's Museum and then McDonald's. The kids LOVED the Museum. It was our first trip there, but I'm sure we will be visiting again soon. I thought my uncles would enjoy knowing that Kate and Linc loved the combine and tractor part of the Museum the most.

Last week, Kate told me that when she gets big she wants to be just like Dr. Hunter. (Her Pediatrician)

Boat Fun

Last week, we got to take the boat out to Clinton Lake for the first time this year. We had a great time and we were very excited to find that both of our kids LOVE the boat! They had so much fun. Kate wanted to ride in the tube and Lincoln didn't want to miss a thing. At one point they were both sleeping, but Linc didn't stay asleep long and he was up and ready to watch the action again.

He tried so hard to stay awake, but he finally fell asleep, still holding onto the side. :)

One afternoon, Kate told me she was going to check on Lincoln after his nap. For some reason, she thought he needed to have every toy in his room put into his crib.

One morning, Kate told Linc "C'mere buddy, I'll give you a horsie ride." The rider is a little big for this horsie. :)

Miller Park Zoo

Mike recently had a vacation day from Mech. Devices. We took the opportunity to spend some time with our neighbors. The kids had a great time and we did too. :) We're blessed to be able to call our neighbors our friends.

Linc....he refused to let us feed him.....

Hanging out after dinner. I forget what Bryce was doing, but we were all watching him.

Rassi Birthdays

Rassi Birthday's this month were Hope (3) and Jack (2). It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed eating outside. Ellie brought ice cream cones for the kids and I'd say they were a BIG hit.

The two dollhouses Mike S made for Hope and Kate for their birthdays. They are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and Kate loves hers. She has played with little else since she got it. Thank you, Mike!!

Hannah-bug - isn't she cute? I think so. :)

Do you remember the child who was scared of nothing, EXCEPT lawn mowers and the like....well...apparently that is OVER. Kate did not want to get off the dirt bike.....I hold her father responsible for the "ride monster" he has created. :)

Thanks Dad and Mom for another fun night!

Every other July 4th, the Carl Rassi Family has a reunion. This year it was in Taylor, MO. As you can see, it's quite the event. It was rainy this year, but the kids had a fantastic time. Thanks to the Taylor fam for a great day. Shannon, Kate keeps asking when she can go back to the "Cowboy Man's" house. :)

Max and Lincoln played together all day.
